Hi...I am not a developer and need help figuring out what I am doing wrong. I currently ship within Canada and USA both shipping and payment gateway work appropriately for those currencies. I want to open to France. I set up a GeoZone for France and the shipping part works but it does not show a payment option when proceeding through the checkout. I have PayPal Website Payment Pro.

I think my problem might be in the currencies but I am not sure. I would like French customers to pay in CDN or USD....is that possible or do I have to set this up for the EUR currency?

That shouldn't affect whether the payment method is available. More likely, your payment method is restricted to a particular geo zone or zones, and the new France geo zone is not included. Double-check its settings.

I'm not sure how multiple currencies are processed in PayPal -- mine are just converted into USD when the payment is made, which is usually how it works.

The zones are ok. The GeoZones are working also. The customer can select flat rate or weight based shipping so that work. The next step in the cart is payment. When I click it, there is a message which says: Step 5: Payment Method

Warning: No Payment options are available. Please contact us for assistance!

I think this may well be the gateway. I will contact Paypal tomorrow...perhaps I need some approval for currencies other than CDN or USD. I can't see anything else that I have done wrong setting up oc. Everything is enabled.

As I mentioned, the payment method not *loading* would not be due to anything specific to PayPal. The file to determine its availability is separate from the file that processes payments.

Double-check your geo zone settings in the PayPal extension, as that seems the likely culprit here. If you have any extensions that affect payment methods, like Restrict Payment Methods or Ext2Store, make sure you check those settings as well.

It turned out that it was a setting in the payment gateway. The GEO zone was set to Canada. The problem was resolved by changing the setting to all zones. :) Thanks for your assistance...made me double check the zone in the gateway.
