hi, firstly i really thxs for admin make this really good & nice open cart for us.Here i face some problem about opencart shopping cart system. Hope some one can help me.  ;)

I try to be a customer & buy a item in my website. When i press add to cart button, it will show a Quantity column, i write it with 2 in that Quantity column. Then i press the check out button directly (without click the update button), i found that the check out confirmation Quantity will still keep 1 only. & after done the check out, i went back to admin, i check the stock, but the quantity of stock still not change...... still keep the same value as 3.....

May i know got any solution? Thank you.  ;)

The first is by design. However, I must admit that I do not like it either.

The second is the default behaviour but can be changed via a store configuration setting. Have a look at the Stock Tab.

If anyone wants to build it... yes.

Add a hidden field that will contain a redirection location. Make both the update and checkout button use an onclick javascript method that populates the redirection field appropriately and then submits the form. You would also have to change the file catalog\controller\cart.php to redirect on post to the location that is now posted to it rather than simply to itself.
