Did you install the Github version?rocketweb wrote:As I see, the only new feature of OC 2.0 is a new default template + extension installer...?
Do we really need to wait such a long time for these small changes, or there will be some more interesting new features?

but possibly, I am just to 'picky', when it comes to 'visual' things. Typically Swiss. After all, it's for free, so, who care's...
Still, it would take so little, to make it look a little 'more PRO'.
But then, there would be not much to make better either...

I'm just amazed how clean code is in current stable version, and first thing that bugged me was where are namespaces and autoloaders, but then I saw it's built for PHP5.2 and lower. After some reading on forums I saw that there is development of v2.0 so I thought to jump in if it's possible.
Thanks

I really hope it does "more" outta the box, some really basic stuff too.

Apparel stores are hugely popular, and most products have at least 2 options, like color and size and with individual stocks for each color+size combination.
And we surely need to easily filter those options.
Right now, we need to buy expensive extensions for this so popular features.
It could be that a 1.5.6.5 version will be published - will include some fixes > see Github.iamafaker wrote:so after 1.5.6.4 will be 2.0? right?
then i would wait for 2.0 but not upgrade now
v.2 is on the way - it is possible that we will see it before autumn.
Before there will be some public pre-releases for bugtesting & -fixing.
