Hello,

Does anybody know of a flat shipping rate module that can be set on an individual Customer level? I know there are Customer Group rates but I can't find anything for individual Customer rates. Thanks in advance!

what's so bad with Customer Group Rates, that's what they are made for, don't try to reinvent the wheel...

I plan on adding individual customer support to my Ultimate Shipping extension when I get time, but I'm not sure when that will be. I'll try and post here once it's updated.

@IP_CAM - One of the biggest challenges with ecommerce is streamlining the shipping and fulfillment process. What if a client has 40 customers of a special type (customer group) who all receive different fixed shipping rates? Are you proposing 40 different customer groups?

@Johnathan - Awesome, do keep me posted. I am going to have to create a standalone Customer Level Shipping extension very soon if you do not :P

One idea that might be easier would be to dynamically create a new customer group when a customer is created, and assign that customer to that group (which could use the same customer name). You could then use regular customer group features/extensions (like my shipping extensions) to assign rates on a per-customer basis. That may or may not be easier than what you're considering doing.

You will NOT get around the need of specifying some form of 'Preselection', exept you plan to create a DB-based Pricelist for each user, but this would be a huge Job to do.
this is what I meant....
