Partner for an ecommerce site

Hi, I am looking to join forces with a good developer/programmer to help push my ecommerce site to the next level. I just dont enough time to dedicate fully and need some help. Anyone out there interested or know anyone interested? I'm looking to give away a lot of equity as I just need some assistance.

If you are willing to give away a large % of the website, that means you don't believe the website is worth much or wont ever make a lot of money. If you (as the owner) don't value the website, why would one of us?

Good designers/developers already know this, so you are going to find it pretty hard to find help this way.

Hey taco, good question and to be honest the site hasnt made much yet and i dont know how to get it to a point where it does make money, but ive been working on it for 5 years and rather than just have it die, id like to see if i can bring someone aboard that can resuscitate it. It doesn't cost any money other than hosting to upkeep at this point and the shell is there for a very efficient site. God knows, the competitor sites are not much better and some of them make a ton of money.

Its more for someone that may have some spare time that wants to help turn a site around. And i know most people dont have spare time, but who knows, if we work together and make some money, that cant hurt anyone.

I think the other question you should ask yourself is why wouldn't a good designer/developer with free time simply make their own website and keep 100%?

Again, Im definitely not arguing with you at all. All good questions you ask.

My only answer would be the site is halfway there and it compares well to competitors and just needs a little push (i could be wrong, but thats my feeling).

Of course, anyone can build their own site, but ive done a lot of work and put some money into this one and sometimes it may be better to join an idea rather than start one. I know its not for everyone, but I figured I'd throw it out there and see if anyone was interested.

And yes, thats my site. I apologize for the errors on the homepage, I just updated my OC version and didnt fix the errors it gave.
