Hey everyone - looking for an extension to help me with a shipping issue. I broker printed products and the printer charges me a flat fee that increases per unique item. Meaning for example:
Example Order
Product A - 10 x $1.99 = $19.99
Shipping $10 flat + $0.25 each additional = $12.25
Product B - 100 x $0.35 = $35.00
Shipping $10 flat + $0.25 additional = $34.75
Order Total = $101.99
In this case, they are two very different products but it wouldn't matter if they're the same size, weight, product - nothing. If I change one letter on the second line item, I get charged the additional flat fee, as if it's a completely separate transaction.
Need a way to pass that same pricing structure along to my customers. Any suggestions?
Just to note, wjhazel and I have discussed this issue, and although Product-Based Shipping would work, it would require setting up a rate for each product, which is not feasible for his situation.
