I have a template with 250 google font... how would I see what the font look like without having to test one by one...or just guessing? Is there such thing as a font viewer?

Hi lasa,

are you asking how to preview the fonts (as in this site: https://www.google.com/fonts), or are you asking about changing the base font for your OpenCart installation with the google fonts one-by-one so you can see how your site looks ?

Hi Mel,
I was just wondering if there was a way to preview google fonts included in themes prior to making changes. The theme has 250 or more font but no way of previewing prior to implementing...so basically I need to go by name, find it on Google, one by one just to see if it even an option. So many aren't even usable so it becomes a waste of time.

Hi lasa,

did you want to just preview what the font looks like ? Or see it in action on your store ?

It wouldn't be hard to generate a file with all the fonts and a sample sentence shown.

Preview what it looks like...just to see if it's even worth trying.
You see a name like "belgrano" it tells you nothing. If you could at least see it on one word you would at least get a feel for the font.

Did you click on this link: https://www.google.com/fonts. It does exactly that.

Yeah, but again you need to search "astlock" to see that it's not really usable for my site..it would be easier to have the font name to be in the font itself (like in Photoshop) that way at a glance you know if it's even a possibility.

Yeah that's what I ended up doing...250 to 500 font included theme with no real easy way to view the font is kind of useless in my opinion. I think it would be better if it simply gave you an easy way to add fonts to the theme...that way you search them out before hand and install as needed.

Thanks you both for the feedback..
