Affiliate transactions

Hi!
I'm trying to understand how affiliations work. I've created an affiliate and approved him. Now I use the interface to get a tracking code. Opencart give me an url for a product. May I (the affiliate) remove the product part in the url and give that url? I tried this and it seems to work. In oc_order table, I see the affiliate_id column that contains the good affiliate_id.

However, order never go to oc_affiliate_transaction. The affiliate can't see transactions made by customers with his tracking code. Is it normal?

After viewing this post (https://github.com/opencart/opencart/issues/683), I finally understand and seen the link in the order view.

Documentation should be updated and mention the "Add Commission" link in the order view.
