Hello.
I create SSL certificate and all the pages are working fine except my home page.
I know what is the issue but I can't find the files.

The issue is that I have some links that are not https and need to change to http.
I have 10 links with that issue. The 5 links comes from http://fonts.google.apis

I have the open cart theme and I edit it and i can found in the header.tpl this line

<link rel="<?php echo $style['rel']; ?>" type="text/css" href="<?php echo $style['href']; ?>" media="<?php echo $style['media']; ?>" />

If I delete it at all I will have problems with my template.
Where is stored that media pack so to go to the actual file and change it from http:// to :// and then I will resolve my problem?
Thanks at all

Before you go making a mess of things, why do you even want your home page SSL to begin with? Are you offering a login, or register page? Checkout? Cart? Would do good to have a legitimate reason. default opencart with SSL enabled is not configured to have the home page as SSL. This is why you are having issues.

If you are just talking about the google font reference then just make it https://

The header references are on "every" page because the header is called on you guessed it....every page. Make sure your external references are https

I fix it all my problems.
Yes I know what u mean. I am experience user with all the content management systems. I create my owns templates because I have CSS skills and all of that.
Also I discover that a lot of people has got https problems. I fix them all. All my pages at my store working at https :).
The reason that I make the site https it because I use JCC Payment method. JCC Is the biggest payment method in Cyprus and they told me that to proceed with their payment system my site need to have https.
I think i will write a tutorial how someone can make the whole website to working as https.
It take me 12 hours to make the site with a valid SSL (with valid links) because opencart has got problems at the SSL as I read from other threads

also avici you understand wrong...
I dont know why but this line I mentioned

<link rel="<?php echo $style['rel']; ?>" type="text/css" href="<?php echo $style['href']; ?>" media="<?php echo $style['media']; ?>" /> in my source code it was generating those lines of google fonts..
So I delete that line and then I copy paste those lines that it was generating with https.
The problem was that it was 6 lines but my code was having just one. So I couldn't change http to https.
When i delete that line it stop to generate those 6 lines so I copy paste those 6 lines straight to my code and i change them at https

Well I have a similar problem because I am considering using Westpac and if I do use Westpac they want the complete website on https but that's not the only issue because going from http to https when someone isn't all that clued up causes confusion and that is the last thing I want to give my visitors.

I assumed that if I changed the config file to read https it would then become https all over the website. Could anyone tell me if that assumption is correct please or or if not how can I do it.

Also, does https slow the site down much or is it not noticeable?
