Hi,

I have a VPS that will have no other sites on except for the opencart site. We expect that over 3 days in May the website will have upto a 1000 visitors concurrently.

I have page caching extensions already installed.

The VPS has a CPU with 3 cores and 2gb of ram - I can update to 12 cores and 16gb of ram if necessary.

I was also thinking about installing the apache version of nginx as well?

Do the experts in this forum think the above setup will suffice? I am not an expert in this area. The client that we built this site for was originally just going to have local advertising etc but has now decided to do an expo that attracts 150,000 people over 2 days...

Thanks for reading!

We are using the 123-reg VPS servers. We went with them for the reputable reviews they have received.

Many thanks for the replies!
