Use your own shipping carrier method

I haven't found nothing yet. We need to create a shipping method to allow users to choose if they want to use their own shipping carrier and allow them to checkout. We had a similar feature using CEON Advanced shipper on Zencart, where users able to make shipping arrangements over the phone after the order was placed.

i don't remember of any at the moment. But why not clone one shipping module over, and label it 'choose my own'?
