Categories with Descriptions

For those who would like Categories to have a long description, please have a look at the following

I can't download it from http://www.opencart.com/contribution/in ... tion_id/36, I always get the error message

Having said that, I did exactly the same a month ago on some live servers, by adding the DB column 'description' to the 'category' table. At the moment I can only edit the 'description' field via the Export/Import to/from Spreadsheet function, or via PHPMyAdmin. I assume in your solution it can also be edited from the online OpenCart's admin interface, hence I'd be interested in downloading your ZIP-file and trying it out.

Something evil is happening on the forum. I cannot put this file up successfully.

For those who are interested in combining Bruce's Categories with Descriptions with my Bulk Export/Import contribution: They are fully compatible, because my contribution has been supporting the category description as an additional optional database table column, too, and we both happened to choose the same name and type for it: category_description.description
