I'd also like this, even if its not in visible in the website but in the code somewhere, just somewhere you can find out what version your running so in say 6 months time and you decide to upgrade you know what version your upgrading from!Qphoria wrote:What happened with a version number being added to this version? Did that ever happen? I couldn't find a version number in the install/opencart.sql file

Personally, I like it except I'd probably prefer the search feature to be before the language/currency drop-downs.i2Paq wrote:What is the difference?murray wrote:I

Yes, I agree, and this could be very simply by adding a version-number in the footer of the Admin which is taken from a database-table.Qphoria wrote:I would just like it so that i can use it for mod validation so mods can have slightly different effects based on version number. I've been using hacky methods of looking for new fields that don't exist in certain versions and triggering on those.. buts it getting sloppy.

I accidently left the german language set up in the db. It was only for testing multiple languages.

Oh well, looks like it works as intended, just have to get used to the new way of adding the option values ;-)dbstr wrote:Confirmed.. it's acting weird.clonex wrote:But i found (only) one bug..
When i add a option for my products, then the last added option value for the product, will not be saved .
About the screenshot with the design; I don't like the language and currency in the blue area, I think it looks better in the breadcrumb area (as it is now)
Are you gonna release 1.4.1 soon Daniel?
Request Reviews v1.0 released.
Consider it done. I've already mentioned your software to a few developers that I work with and plan on spreading the word much more. I'm hard to please and your software has impressed me quite a bit and hope I can finally move away from my current ASP/SQL-based cart.Daniel wrote:Please spread the word about the new release to any blogs or forums you know!
i agree with dbstr
for my online store, i will only need the search box and "go" - i will remove language, currency, categories and advanced search (providing the default search criteria is to search all categories)
This leaves me with a big blue bar i need to fill with something - i'm just not sure what yet. I really like the tabs at the top, and i'm debating weather i could move the breadcrumb line into the "blue bar" area and probably just alter the colours to suit me. I realise this is something for me as an individual to deal with rather than for Daniel to alter as it is a personal choice, but i can't help thinking that the space that the blue bar fills could be utilised better than is at present.

personalised car signs
personalised bedroom door signs
personalised gifts for kids
That sounds like a good idea to start with, i currently have about 15 categories, but i'm planning to reduce this to about 10, which might fit quite nicely.

i'm not going to do any major changes that will affect payment or shipping modules.
just small changes.
This is what I'm going to do:
Add a bookmark link at the top of the catalog page.
get UPS working
PDF Invoices
Invoice Numbers (where is the link to the thread about this?)
Cumulative Tax (for canadian users)
Payment address tax for downloadable orders.
