alegrocart is a spinoff of OC 0.7.9 by forum member "bthirsk". He and a few other talented members did not want to take the leap and it looks as though he decided to also carry on the torch of the elder framework in his own direction. More power to him.

Is Open Cart developed by only (1) person?

Hey,

Cool, looking forward to this version.

I'm still on 1.3.2 and have waited for a build with enough 'new stuff that I want' to make the upgrade worth while.

Is there much chage to structures etc that will make upgrading from 1.3.2 to 1.3.5 a pain?

Cheers

I would highly recommend moving to 1.3.4 first, as the entire template structure has changed and the farther back you are, the harder it will be to upgrade.

Righto.

Best I get a copy of my store onto my staging server and thenupgrade it to 1.3.4 ready to upgrade it to .5

Didn't have anything planned for the weekend anyway.

Won't know until its out. I think it will be easier than the upgrade from 1.3.2 to 1.3.4

Daniel, take your time. Don't let anyone rush you. If you can get all of the critical changes done, before releasing 1.3.5, we'll all be happier. If you can implement a true module system for 1.3.5, we'll kiss your feet! ;D

hah that would be great, but I think that will take a bit to long to try to squeeze into 1.3.5 I would be quite happy knowing he will look at implementing one at some point in the not too distant future.

I agree. ;) I was using satire, I am sure you gathered. :D Although, I would kiss his feet if he had it ready for 1.3.5! ;D

From what I know.. I think its only going to be new admin theme, new image manager, and some bug fixes. No new framework changes for modules

Like I said I wouldn't expect that from 1.3.5, but I would love to know he'll consider it for future versions maybe 1.4 or something since it is a pretty big change.
