Multiple Staff - Assign Orders to Staff - prevent conflicts

multiple staff will be logging in to manage orders and communications

might there be a way to lock (while logged in) order numbers to specific staff as orders are called?

in other words, Staff A logs in and pulls up the order list and sees Orders 1, 2, and 3 in their browser

in order not to create any conflict in order processing, then when Staff B logs in and then also calls the order list, then Orders 1, 2, and 3 would not be displayed since these have already been called by Staff A, but Staff B now sees Orders 4, 5, and 6 (or whatever)

but if Staff A works on only Order 1 and 2 but not Order 3 by the time Staff A logs out, then Order 3 is put back into the general pool of orders for the next staff person to work on

after Staff A has worked on Order 1, for instance, then Order 1 is sent back to the general pool of orders but now with any changes/updates submitted by Staff A, but now Order 1 can be picked up by a different staff member

the idea is to allow multiple staff to work on orders but to prevent multiple staff from working on the same order at the same time, thus preventing conflicts
