Love the extension. It helps me out a ton. Would you consider writing the code so that the dependent options are invisible until the proper parent option is selected?

For example on my product page http://www.tscustomsuits.com/Navy-Strip ... uit-Fabric
if the user selects Custom Tailored for "How would you like to order" option, then no "Suit Size" dependent option would be visible but if the user selectes "By Size" in "How would you like to order" parent option, then the dependent option "Suit Size" would appear with the dropdown and available sizes.

If this is something you are interested in only doing in a case-by-case basis, I'm still interested.

In the jquery.chained.mini.js file change:

Code: Select all

.attr("disabled","disabled")}else{a(c).removeAttr("disabled")
To:

Code: Select all

.attr("disabled","disabled").hide()}else{a(c).removeAttr("disabled").show()

Just what I was looking for thank you, but before I purchase am just wondering 2 things please -

- does it work yet on Image Options?
- I realise different themes you may not know about, but using Big Shop and wonder if you know if it works with that please?

If it works with theme then I'll but it right now :)

Thank you :)

No.

I couldn't tell you for certain but a theme has to be very badly constructed in order to not work with it.

Hi rph,

I have sent a PM to you with regards to volume licensing. Can you get back to me on that. It is important.

Thanks.

Hi there,

I have installed this and it's absolutely great! The only thing is it is stopping the SKU numbers from showing on invoices for product options so it conflicts with the Unique SKU Per Product Option [VQmod] is there a way to stop this?

I don't see how it should have any effect since Dependent Options makes no changes to that section of the cart. Did you try disabling Dependent Options to see if the issue persisted or try the compatibility troubleshooting methods in the readme file?

I believe you've already posted in the extension pages comments and I answered you there. But please do not use the forum and comments pages for support. It's difficult keeping the multiple concurrent support requests straight I'm receiving via comment/forum post/PM. There is a dedicated email in the readme.pdf file for priority support.

Is there any method to have the price shown updated based on the options chosen ?

Do you think it will work OK with this theme:

I can't guarantee anything but I don't see anything immediately wrong with it. I will say from a usability side I did find the theme difficult to navigate.

Hi there,

I'm going mental with the options stuff and can't get my had around this:) I need dependable options where 1st option has it's own unique sub-options and so on. I believe your extensions does that. But I also need to show different image for that option on selection and also update price live as you select another option. Will this extensions work like that or can I buy other extensions to add to this one to make this work like that?

Thank you!

Check out the readme.pdf file. It has full documentation on the error, why it's included, and how to work around it.
