Hi All

Given the price hike here in the UK of shipping by Royal Mail, I've moved over to My Hermes to test drive it.

I was wondering if anybody else has done this?

Also, If i carry on using it, I'll need to make a mode to 'download CSV' of the orders to ship, then upload to my herms to save re-typing all the customers data each time. Would you be interested in buying that for say $19? If so, i'll get cracking on it!

Any thoughts how you'd like it to work?

Thanks for any feedback, ideas.

I have been looking for a my hermes plugin for shipping. I agree postage is become a barrier to selling online from Royal Mail at the moment and Hermes seem to be very competitive these days. I has talking to an area manager a couple of weeks ago by chance and he was very informative about pricing and the reliability of the service.

They can courier up to 2kg for around £4.20 inc VAT for 3 delivery attempts within 3 working days. Pay an extra pound for signed for and if the goods are valuable you have two choices of compensation but all goods under £50, compensation is free.

Your post is from April 2013,. Has there been any progress on this? I would be very interested to see this working and would buy it in at a drop of a hat if it was an integrated module.

Hi everybody,
I couldn't find a Myhermes mod but...

Quick Fix
Myhermes pricing is simple and weight based, this makes it easy to set up the Weight based shipping option.
For anybody who wants to do so but doesn't know how to...

Login to your admin/dashboard
Extentions > Shipping
Click edit (or install then edit) on "Weight Based Shipping" Probably at the bottom.
Make sure the status is 'Enabled'.

Click "UK Shipping" (tab on left)
Past the line below into the text box

2:4,5:5.50,10:7.50,15:10.00

Make sure that status is enabled and then save.

Please note the number above you copied and pasted is in the format:
Weight(Kg):Cost(£),Weight(Kg):Cost(£), etc.

IMPORTANT
The price format is correct as of the date 01/03/2014, and should be checked with myHermes price list, If used for future reference.
ALSO While using the weight shipment pricing all of your items have the correct weight (when adding or editing a product, go to the data tab scroll down and it's near the bottom.

Hope this helps you people, I know its not a myHermes Mod but its improvisation.

Hi All, I forgot to actually post that I've made a myHermes CSV download vqmod.
It saves you HOURS of typing customers address details.

Instead of manually entering every name, address, weight, etc. etc. for every order, you just 'tick the boxes' on the orders page, then click 'download'. Then visit myHermes.co.uk and 'upload' the file, DONE!

see it in action here: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n_id=12364
