Product condition (New, Used)

hello all

is there a way to have something like a check box while entering the product to say if it is new or used, and while customers preview the product it says clearly in product main page if it is new or used. I know i can do it with attributes, but it is frustrating and not clear in product page. what makes me want it easy to enter that i have a multivendor module .. so attributes is kinda hard for them
