Specials gone after upgrade

Now that I've upgraded I've discovered the specials are not working.

In admin product view, it shows red line and special price. But when view storefront, the special price is not appearing on product page or in module. It says "specials" but nothing shows up under it.

Specials is set up in admin>extensions>module

I have set to default customer in both product and settings>options.

I have set the limit to 3 in module.

Start date is in the past and end date way in future.

Any other ideas?

Actually it is working now. I have no idea why, just appeared one day.

What format do you have the dates in? YYY-MM-DD or something different? I am noticing that the start date for my specials is all 0000-00-00 but they dont show on the front of the store even correcting that date.

I have the proper dates in the file, but am wondering what date format it is looking for.

An example of one of my start dates: 2012-12-01

I don't know how I can help you. I followed everything in the forums and just let it go as I was working on other things. then one day I noticed it was working. I can't tell you why or how. Hopefully, someone who know what they are talking about will chime in.
