Hello hello hello,

I am coming from a magento shop and have a huge database that i want to import to my opencart.
But how? What are the possibilities?

I already tried to import it as the original sql file, but this doesn't work, because i think the structure is different.
Please who would help me :)

thnxx

Hi Lisalisa,

If you would like to switch from magento to opencart.
You can try to use cart2cart to help you.

Please take a look.

hey Felix,

Thnx for your solution, but it's not working as it does not take my magento link in the migration.
Other solutions?

Hello lisalisa,

Could you please specify what did you mean by saying: 'but it's not working as it does not take my magento link in the migration.'
If you are talking about urls migration then cart2cart supports it for both magento and opencart.
Another solution may be using a default magento export functionality. You will get a csv file with all the corresponding data. After that you can import a csv file that you will get to opencart. However, I would say that it is a bit complicated way since the file structure is different.
Anyway, good luck =)

Hi,

Check this feature it seems to do exactly what you need http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/ ... ices/#dump
You can also contact their support for free even if you are not a customer to get more details about this option and how it works.
