Cant change the default currency

Hi Guys,

I would like to report a bug on the version of OpenCart v1.5.3.1,
when I tried to change the Default currency "USD" to "PHP" the default currency not changing,

First I Insert "Philippine Peso" as Currency Title and Change the value to exactly "1.00000", I do the exactly what the instruction on the comment, so that the "PHP" Currency will be my default currency.

as for "USD" I change the value to "44.00" so it will not be default as currency

I hope you can figure it out how to fix this problem

I am facing same issue with opencart 1.5.4
I tried by removing cookies but its not working...

make sure you have changed the default currency in the admin settings then just to be sure use anbother browser or different computer that has not visited the site before.

I have find this question answer.
Two change the default currency
first go to system>localisation>currencies
make your default currency value 1.0000000
then go to system>settings>local>Currency>your currency
Now clear your cookies then browse again.

Hi, I am new to Open Cart.

I have the same problem. In my case, I want the default to be in Philippine Peso (PHP).
Looking at how the admin (index.php) loads the default currency. I did this. Then delete all other currencies.
