[HOW TO] Cloud-zoom and Opencart step by step guide 1.5.1.3

Hello im having problems, after updating my website with an SSL certificate whenever I go to the https version of my site, the zoom stops working how can I fix this?

@webstra, I'm having the same problem as Coder4ever; all appears as it should on page load but there's a box over main image which says 'Loading...'. Then when I click the Thumbs the same happens & no image change. I'm using OC 1.5.2.1 & jQuery 1.7.1min.

Any suggestions appreciated..

[Update 22:40 GMT] Well, I'd overlooked to place the main $image image within a link & now all works as it should!
However, I had wanted just to use the load thumb into main image div feature & not the rollover zoom. Currently I've just blocked all script & CSS references to zoomDiv but would prefer to male it much simpler - I did try searching on here & Google but with the usual zero results so far.

Any Ideas?

I'm a OC newbies.

I followed the steps for installe Cloud Zoom properly:

Vqmod is installed
The .xml files has been added to vqmod/xmls
The folder permission has benn set to 755

I'm getting crazy, the exstension wont work, may, the only think i done is customization of the css.

Please, can anyone give me a little help?

I am on OC 1.5.2.1.

After following your steps i finally get cloudzoom working well & additional image thumbsize customized to my liking.

However i got 1 problem. My main image thumbnail is missing from the rest of the additional images. How do i get it back?

How can doing on OpenCart Version 2
