I was working on product images and suddenly OC kicked me out of the admin area and won't let me back in. I waited (about an hour now), cleared my browser cache, tried another browser, all to no avail. Any ideas?
When I try to login, it refreshes the login window without an error message but updates the URL in the address bar with the proper url (...index.php?route=common/login&token=50623...)
OC 1.5.1.1
Any help would be appreciated.

I´m receiving the exact same problem.
I was updating a product page when OC kicked me out and no I´m not able to sign in.
How did you solve this?

It´s no longer availabe to add products in the cart in my store.
I have googled and can´t be able to find any thread that leads to an answer, just open questions.
In my understanding most of these problems are self-fixed since no one bothers to answer in them how they solved it, anyone who can confirm that theory? I have contacted my domain host.

check disabling your htaccess file to see if that's the issue
check if your sessions are working. If yes, then try to disable your .htaccess file first.

Unfortunately I'm not a programmer, what should I do with the htaccess now? Do I need it still to have a well working onlineshop? I'm using SEO friendly URL.

I have also facing the same problem. But, I can't keep disable the ".htaccess file" of my website.
So, I got the another solution for this without disabling ".htaccess file".

I working on Multi store website opencart verson 2.0.3.1. I did some changes in session.php in library for single login (shared session for all stores ) after changes this problem occured. Then I use server SCRIPT_NAME condition on session.php and problem of admin login will solved.
