Hi, I love Opencart, it is awesome, 1 billion thank you's to all who've made it what it is

Now that is out of the way - I can see room for improvement though when it comes to 'manufacturers'.

1. It would be wonderful if we where not restricted to using the word 'manufacturer' - I know it can be changed in the language files but that doesn't change the url or all of the instances of the word.

I've built a website selling artwork, so I'd rather refer to the artists as artists not manufacturers.

2. Currently the only info associated with a manufacturer is an image and a name - surely it wouldn't be hard to those in the know to add a description feature?

I had to build my site via Joomla / Aceshop in order to be able to have artists bios - Aceshop is a nightmare.

3. It would be great if you could easily have a short manufacturer description module on the manufacturer page with a 'read more' link

Wow thanks Labeshops, I might consider moving the whole site to Opencart now ;)

Still it should be a core feature ;)

Thanks again for the link!
