I must say this is the best template I've seen so far. Some VERY nice features in there.

I think since the age of web2.0, JS has become accepted as "normal"leprimo wrote:Oh, very nice looking.![]()
But, no chance to buy without JS. OK OK, I know , most customer go with JS, but its not really professinal to require that.

All sites use it now... and you don't seem to realize OpenCart default template uses JS as well. You cannot add to cart or checkout without it.
Same goes for all the big names
ebay, amazon, debs, etc
hi,
personally the way the home page changes all the time to show the different bits doen the side is too quick, and i dont like it at all. if i wanted to look at the specials then i would click the specials dont want them thrust down my throat like.
I would prefer to see the featured products all the time down the side. Same with the best sellers definately wouldnt want them in the box at the bottom like that.
if i saw a shop like that it would drive me mad and i would be off it in about 30 seconds if not quicker.

Dont ask for comments if your not willing to take criticisms as well. Granted his dislikes were a bit overstated, but its still his opinion. I know personally its alot of work to build something other then a stylesheet change template, but you cant please everyone, just take note of what he doesn't like and if you -really- do like it then just ignore it.Blogexecute wrote: Let me remind you that the templates that are currently used for OpenCart are literally a shit. Do not come to lecture me of how classy a layout adapted to OpenCart.
Best regards
That being said , i like the colors and design, the pages are a bit to tall for my liking and the amount of rotating text would bug me a bit as well. However all in all good job.
Unfortunately your arrogance belittles your talent.
The rest of the templates that are for OpenCart are exactly what they are meant to be, simple and clean. There is no need to bad mouth them just because they aren't like yours. This one is great because of it's showcase-style design. But it's not for everyone. Up until this one, most of your other templates I found to be just ok but nothing great. I'd still prefer the default template to any of yours.
You did a nice job, but don't let it go to your head.

Very nice, but I don't like that kind of menu (drop down), I prefer menu where you immediately see every child without having "to mouseover" every time. This is why I'll also change the OpenCart default admin template, replacing the horizontal drop down menu with a modular sidebar, probably based on a jquery portlet like this: http://jqueryui.com/demos/sortable/#portlets (you can expand/collapse every portlet as you want).
Agreed.Qphoria wrote:Unfortunately your arrogance belittles your talent.

I chose OpenCart because of its basic skin enabled me to rework everything I wanted without being bogged down with 'showy' junk. Numerous shopping carts can get over complicated with what is excess junk and ilrelavant to the core features. If a user wants to skin their site, thats up to them, but the base must be good to begin with.
I looked at this last night using dbx, but it means editing every module, so that it has a handle in its title area, could be done, but a bugger to update.ekerazha wrote:Very nice, but I don't like that kind of menu (drop down), I prefer menu where you immediately see every child without having "to mouseover" every time. It was like that when I found it, honest!
Lets not knock the visual design/eye candy its a good base, drop the CSS menu along the header and it would be fab in my eyes

Many times my posts, gates, you are a bastard.
.... and the folder $ _ not help at nothing, i can read content (ahahahaha)
Heh, the bad english makes it funny to read, because it really makes no sense. But yes, if you continue to insult others and waste time bad mouthing other templates instead of simply offering your template, then I will continue to delete your posts.
Continue and I will eventually ban your account.
sorry this user got banned under several names and all their sites have since been taken down.JohnL wrote:Is there a link to see this template? I am looking for one for a client so any links would be appreciated.
