Hi guys,

Thank you so much for this good piece of software.
I had nevertheless one question: is it possible to have many sellers for one same product?

Example: I have the product Harry Potter the book #1, I want to be able to have tom and john post the same item with a potential different picture but most importantly, a different price.

Is that possible?
Thanks for your answers :) ,

Jo

well, the seller of a product is you
I think opencart is not intended to be an auction, but an online shop.

yes, I understand that, I don't need an auction site either. But in my case the products I sell comes from differents providers, I don't manage the stock or the delivery.

I just need to know who the provider is and the system to send a email when a order is placed.

Actually I've made some modifications on my own to support this by copying the behavior of the Manufacturer field, but is not complete yet.

hey,

I am working on something as well; although i'd love to create a module of its own rather than modify code directly (but no idea how to do a module to modify fields and database).

Should we share our results ?
Regards,

Jo

Sorry if I am misunderstanding - but wouldn't the "multistore" function achieve this for you? If you are talking about several different vendors selling products (which could well be the same product); and using the same backend/admin?

Cheers
