Total is zero if Sub Total disabled

Hi,

Nearly finished building a new site with OC 1.5.1. just noticed that in the shopping cart, if Subtotals are disabled then the Total is always 0! This is an issue for my client who won't be charging taxes, etc. so doesn't want to see a subtotal.

Is this a bug, a feature or an RTFM?

If this is a brand new store is there any reason why you did not use the latest 1.5.4.1?
