Google Base and Sitemap Feeds

Hi there,

I'm trying to set up the built in Google Sitemap and Google Base feeds, however both fail. Here is what Google says:

Sitemap:
URL: index.php?route=feed/google_sitemap
Error:
We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.

HTTP Error: 404

However, when I click on the URL a XML file exists.

Base Feed simply doesn't accept the URL of: index.php?route=feed/google_base - but it does open up in the web browser

Any help will be appreciated

you need an add on like UK site builders to make it work correctly


On a side note, I USED to me able to open http://mysite.com/index.php?route=feed/google_base in Chrome/IE/FF
however now, IE gives a page error, FF tries to open w. a Feed, and chrome opens w/ a reader that converts it to xml (html looking page) that i cannot edit (.txt and save to xml for manual upload)
