OpenCart is Better Than osCommerce!

I've been having so many troubles with osCommerce, I'm just glad I found opencart, it's so easy to use, clean design. Please keep up the great work, OpenCart is going to be better than osCommerce and virtuemart!

A - This is what I'm loving about OpenCart:

1- URLs with international characters work great. I can put the word Açaí in the URL and it will show exactly like that in the address bar. Excellent for Google and all web searches.

2- I was a looking exactly for a way to sell the same product in 5 different colors, opencart allows the user to choose his favorite color! That's an awesome idea, I don't know of any other program that allows color selection.

3- Extra information pages can be created effortlessly! It's such a pain to create extra pages with osCommerce!

B - These are things that can be added or fixed:

1- XML sitemap (google-sitemap.php for Google Site Maps)

2- Automatic URL alias creation instead of adding each one manually.

3- I was not able to change the Price of the products. Looks like it's not working.

So far these are the good things I've found and the things that must be improved.

OpenCart has the potential to be the best ecommerce solution in the world. It is especially good for the novice that doesn't know or doesn't want to lose a lot of time changing code like with osCommerce.

Sorry, there's no problem with the price I think.

I was using the default currency US Dollars and the value specified for this currency was 1.86041999. This is the amount you need in dollars to buy 1 Pound Sterling.

I change the value 1.86041999 to 1 and the amount in US dollars shows correctly now.

i'll probably write a plugin to generate a google sitemap and generate all the url alias.

i tried to setup oscommerce & no had luck

i like OpenCart default template. It's clean & nice. The first impression is important!
And it is very easy to install. 3 clicks with fill-in necessary detail - and it is done.
OpenCart - simple, clean but nice. I like it.

I have try osCommerce and Zen Cart, but dislike their default templates and their contributors' template.
Too simple, too outdate, or maybe too ugly to me...
Unless you want to buy a beautiful website template...
