Hi guys

Just customising the admin for my new porject and basically i am using:

Length, weight and cost Fields for different entries which, and as it is expected numbers will be enetred in these it adds

.00 to my inputs.

These inuts are now words so just looking for quick guide as to how to change these from decomal to varchar i suppose, did have a good look in phpmyadmin, but got a little lost as to how to change the type from decimal to varchar.

Or am i going about this in a more complicated way, can i just edit the system/library files?

Ay answeres would be great.

Thnaks guys

Chris

You can remove decimal via phpmyadmin.
Open your database via phpmyadmin
Select table product, select field (example length),
In length/value: change (5,2) to (5,0)
In default: change (0,00) to (0)

Hi all,

Thanks for this info - but I can't seem to get it to work, and specifically, I have no field names in my oc_product page, via phpmyadmin. My current issue is that all of the products in my client's catalog uploaded with ".00000000" after the proper digit. I want to just display the digit - eg "100" instead of "100.00000000". Thanks for any help!!
