2 for £15 discount?

Hello,

I'm in the process of setting up a clothing website using Opencart. I've added my products but am wanting to be able to offer discounts like when two tshirts from a list of products which i specify a 2 for £15 discount is applied automatically rather than having to pay the full price for both items.

I want to be able to select which products this applies to and choose the discount price and quantity.

I just wondered if there is any way of doing this with Opencart or would i have to pay a freelancer to get the modification done?

Product-Based Fee/Discount can do this, but can only do a rule of "Any 2 from this list of products...". So it could be 2 of Product A, 1 of Product A and 1 of Product B, 2 of Product B plus other products, etc.

that sounds like the sort of thing i'm after, from what you've said i assume 2 for £10 on sweatshirts i select would be ok but 3 for £10 would not work? am i right?

You could set it so the discount is given for every 2 in the cart. So for example, if your sweatshirts are normally $7 and you want to do 2 for $10:

Title: Sweatshirt Discount
From: 2, To: 3, Charge: -4.00
From: 4, To: 5, Charge: -8.00
From: 6, To: 7, Charge: -12.00
etc.

It would then appear in the cart as:

Sub-Total: $14.00
Sweatshirt Discount: -$4.00
Shipping: $x.xx
(other line items)
Total: $x.xx
