hey guys. i just did a post about removing the return links so the customer can't click anything that would trigger the return sequence. it doesn't stop them from reaching it by typing in: www.yoursite.com/index.php?route=account/return/insert
but it will stop most of your customers from trying to use this.
here's the post with vqmod attached:

I do not know if you check this thread. I would like to test the file you have attached but do not know where to put it. Can you, anyone else for that matter, explain me how to use it? Has ever been any fix made in the latest release to fix this problem? Or more recent solution than this one?
I prefer dealing issues and disputes by email to understand better the issue surrounding a return than to automate from user front. I think, this is very bad feature for digital items. For physical items, as long as the product is not opened and the client sends back the item, it can be relatively secured than giving a digital product once backed up by the client and request a return.
Using v1.5.4.1
You need to download & install VQMod, then uploade the xml file to this location /vqmod/xml
This works with OpenCart 1.5.6
Thanks for sharing. It's just what I need.... although for me, the mod to redirect seems to download the tpl file instead of redirecting to the homepage. Maybe thats a 1.5.6 issue?

delete it.
