What does this mean?
it means i can start taking advantage of gits ability to push, pull and clone projects.
it means the community can start getting more involved by cloning the opencart repository make changes then push the changes opencarts master branch.
should be interesting either way.

P.S. Good news for developers community

P.S.S. GitHub has organizations, and teams in it, so you could create like Lithuanian translation team, and I person (like me, beause I'm a lead developer of lithuanian translation) had access to push&pull function. So from lithuanian github page I could directly push translation. What do you think?

You can also use TortoiseSVN to program Github
Look to TortoiseGit
SetupHowTo
HOWTO_CentralServerWindowsXP
UsingPuTTY
That program really sucks BIGTIME in taking up diskspace and processor performance!andrejuseu wrote:I suggest to use GitHub for Windows.
What a whale to use

Moving to github is maybe handy from a developers point of view, fur "us" it is a nightmare setting up.

Now that 1.5.4 is released are there any plans to have two branches. One with just bug fixes and one with the fixes and new features?
