Delivery cost with tax

Posted this in the bug reports, not sure if it is one though.

But - how can I make the shipping quote show the price with tax. I have show prices with tax enabled in admin.

Give me a clue to what line number etc etc & I shall try to figure it out if this is the way the cart is supposed to work or I need to learn how to code php (used to asp)

Did you add the tax class to the shipping method?

there is a field called tax class on all shipping modules.

Tax class has been added & enabled.

Looking at code around line 385 (controller/guest.php) there is no reference to tax. Or am I heading down the wrong path?

did you setup your tax zones?

tax will be calculated after guest has sepcified where the goods are being shipping to.

Set that up as well. No matter what I change it to - still doesn't add tax. Shows it in confirm page as seperate item though.

Testing on local server at the moment. Will upload to server soon and give url.

Using your online demo only has free shipping, so it is a bit a hard to find out what is right.

I don't think shipping tax is added until the confirmation step, as that is where the shipping order total module is and that is where the tax code is

Thats what appears to happen.

In Australia we need to show all prices including tax - even quotes - so I guess I need to figure this out.
PHP learning curve - here I come!

And I have a little issue/question regarding the show prices with tax included.

I'm from Portugal and dont really sell to other countrys.
So I set products to show prices with tax included.
I've set all GeoZones and Tax rates and all is calculated correctly.
But, not all prices are displyed with tax included has I need.

I have:
Product x Quantity x Unit Price = Total
Product x 3 x 14,00EUR = 42,00EUR
This is correct

Then on the bottom of the page I have

Sub-Total: 34.15€
Flat Rate: 5.00€
TAX 23%: 9.00€
Total: 48.15€

The calculations are correct, but
sub total price and
Flat Rate price
are displayed without tax included,
I would like all prices in the store to displyed with tax included.

Can you point me in the correct direction please?

PS: I'm running Version 1.5.3.1
