LIVE DEMO
(u:demo@demo.com / p:demo)

DOWNLOAD
Supported OpenCart Versions:
================
v151+

What does it do:
================
This replaces the normal checkout with a much cleaner and simpler 2 step option and use a more intutive design that customers are sure to love
Page One: Login/Registration combines the login form and registration form for Normal or Guest accounts.
Page Two: Checkout Confirmation combines all the checkout display options in one place and uses ajax to handle all updates. The result is the cleanest checkout experience available.

Requirements:
================
- This mod requires the vQmod engine to be installed (http://vQmod.com)

- Because of the way the page updates using ajax, changes to setting will have to update the temp order.
Since OpenCart simply generates a new temp order by default, this can result in many temp orders in the "Abandoned" or "Missing" orders list.
Though not required, You will want to use the "Single Order Temp Id" vQmod to limit excessive temp orders:
http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=121&t=9192
This will ensure that the same order id is reused for a single customer instead of generating a new order id each time.

Main features:
==============
* Does not overwrite any core files!
* Uses vQmod for a few simple changes
* Intuitive design
* Easy to customize template files to move boxes around.
* Follows OpenCart's classes to allow for blending naturally with custom themes
* Choice of "Radio" or "Select" choices for Shipping and Payment (via Admin)
* Admin configuration options for shipping/payment style and update triggers
* Single Address form for Guest/Register with simple password option
* Can Restore to normal checkout by simply disabling from the admin.
* Adds separate shipping checkbox option
* Uses store wide setting for guest checkout to determine if password is required or not.
* Automatically requires account creation if product has a download (as this is an opencart requirement)
* Combines Shipping/Payment/Confirm into one page with ajax updates
* Full compatibility with existing payment extensions. Unlike other checkout systems out there, this will work with all payment extensions dynamically.
* Supports new Customer Group Account choice during registration (v1.5.3 or later)
* Supports new Company ID and Tax ID fields (v1.5.3 or later)
* Supports agree checkbox
* Multistore compatible (common configuration)
* Option to disable shipping address to force shipping to be the same as billing address
* Option to refresh payment options when shipping is changed
* Guest Only option
* Option to Disable Comments
* Option to show/hide each registration field, even email address, from within the admin area.

I've seen several One Page Checkout out there, but your Uber Checkout is much better or may be the best.
Good work Q 8)

There was a lot more to the testimonial than that, however it's not suitable forum material :P

Looks really nice and much easier for customers to use.

Two things I'd like to see that would make it even more attractive for me.

1 Add captcha to the register part for new customers checking out.

2 Make the newsletter subscription radio button default to Yes.

Not to hijack the thread, but I've gotten to the point where I just won't support it any more and tell the people who have it to demand better from the Shoppica team. I lose some sales but that theme will continue to be a huge headache for devs if the Shoppica team doesn't feel any pressure from their customers and mod developers to make it more compliant with the standard OpenCart framework.

Totally agree Ryan, they need to sort themselves out. They've made a lot of money from that theme, they should consider spending some time developing it to work correctly. Had people with issues with it due to it doing redirects when changing from list to grid view when using my page cache mod. They blamed the cache mod, but it's their stupid technique to change view type that's the problem. Very hackish

I Agree with the sentiments above.

I don't charge a great deal for my mods, usually $15, which by the time deductions from paypal and opencart have gone leaves about $11 per mod sold.

Then someone will buy a mod and expect me to develop it to be Shoppica compatible, then Shoppica will release a point version and break the amended mod. The time required just makes it not worth the hassle. Not to mention the fact that I had to buy the damn theme just to get the code to make the amendments.

Sorry to continue the hijacking, but I completely agree. I've decided if I can't make something compatible within 5 minutes, then I won't support the Shoppica theme for that extension. Maybe if we all band together we can get them to change their code. :)

Yes! By buying my checkout mod, you will placed on the anti-shoppica petition page... "vote" as many times as you like by purchasing more licenses of the checkout mod 8)
