This module adds "Next" and "Previous" links to the product view template.

Whenever your customers view products in a specific Category, products for a specific Manufacturer or the results of the site search, these links will appear and enable your customers to browse these items by clicking these "Next Item >>" and "<< Previous Item" links. The links appear as Names of the products that will be shown if clicked.

Hi,

Yeah, the mod won't kick in if the product is clicked from "the latest products". Right now the mod works if viewing products from "Categories", "Manufacturer" and "Search Results".

The problem is that there are no links to activate this display, so the mod doesn't know that the product is viewed from there.

However, if you're willing to make one more edit to one of the templates, the mod can be made to work with "latest products" as well.

Let me know if this additional functionality is needed and I'll update the mod.

Thanks

UPDATE has been posted.

The latest revision of the mod now supports "<< Previous" and "Next >>" links when viewing products from the latest product list on the home page.

Support for v1.2.8, v1.2.9, v1.3.x has also been added.

The mod now also includes an optional field that will allow you to control how many latest products are shown on the home page from the admin panel. This control is optional. Should you decide not to use it, you would be able to specify a different number of latest products for which the links will be activated. For example, if on your home page you show 4 latest products, you can tell the mod to cycle through 8 or more latest products. If you do use this option, then the mod will force the number of products on the home page and the links loop to always be the same. I hope that makes sense to you guys.

Let me know if you have any questions

Thanks

thanks for this, legend , great work.

one thing, (Please Please) if possible, are we able to make it just <<<Previous & Next>>>> maybe optional?
would like to have Previous and Next instead of the name of the next and previous products.

I looked into. Installed second langauge, on v1.3.2, and it works ok for me. I did find a problem with one of the language contributions. This problem is when the contribution is not "native" to OpenCart. When you install the language module, you should not have to overwrite any existing files. One of these contribs did. Adn that's the one that didn't work. The other, native, language contrib, installaed without a glitch and the links worked just fine.

You can PM me if you would like me to make it work on your site.

Thanks

Support for the use of words such as Previous and Next has been added.
Also added support for the Category sort. After using the sort dropdown, you can now browse the category using previous and next links in a sorted order.
