I need a module created for a client store which will allow customers to find retail stockists for her products.
It should work similar to these:
* http://www.madmillie.com/au/mad-millie-stockists-2/
* http://www.amartallsports.com.au/ecom/a ... cator.aspx
* http://www.meccacosmetica.com.au/StoreLocator/
When someone clicks on a state in a map of Australia, the listings for that state get shown. The listings should show store name, address, phone number, and website link. A google map showing store location would be nice if possible, but isn't essential.
Admin side should be as simple as possible, allowing my client to easily add in the details for each stockist, and choose the state they are in from a drop down list.
Is anyone able to create such a module, and if so, what would be the approx cost? My client probably won't be needing this for another month or so.
Thanks!

Already made a demo.
Go to PprMkr Demo to see the result.
To add stores login admin with admin, admin
Then click Extensies - Modules
Click Bewerken behind module Storelocator
Then click Toevoegen / Bewerken winkels
Sorry for only having Dutch installed in this demo.

Thanks pprmkr - that's pretty much what I'm looking for, thank you!
We wouldn't need a drop down for the country, as my client's products are only available in Australia, and the state drop down would need to be a map (my client insists on having the map to click on! ). Also a few minor tweaks to the admin side (eg breaking the address field into street, suburb, postcode). Are all these possible? What would be the cost of the module?
To answer your previous question, we'll be using the latest version of OC. The website is still in the planning stages at the moment, which is why we're not likely to need the module for another month or so.

Excellent, it works really well! Thank you.
In Australia, the address format is:
Street Address
Suburb, State, Postcode
So if we can have the addresses displayed that way on the front-end, that would be great.
Just a few questions:
* if there's only one country listed, is it possible to hide the country drop down? I guess I could do this with CSS if necessary.
* will I be able to change the map sprites to fit in with the design of my client's site?
* is there a way to have the module accessed via the "Catalog" tab rather than the "Modules" tab in the admin? I prefer to keep clients out of the Modules tab wherever possible If its not possible, or too much hassle, then it doesn't really matter!
Could you also let me know the cost?
Thanks so much for all your work on this - I really appreciate it!

In this case its better to enter the store-address just like you do in the main store configuration.cartcreative wrote: In Australia, the address format is:

A textarea in wich you can put all the data.
Then this module can be used for all the different address formats.
In the controller I can test on amount of countries found and then dicide not to display the country drop down.cartcreative wrote:* if there's only one country listed, is it possible to hide the country drop down? I guess I could do this with CSS if necessary.
*DONE *
Yes, you can change the colors of the images used.cartcreative wrote:* will I be able to change the map sprites to fit in with the design of my client's site?
To access the store-info via the catalog-tab muliple core-files must be altered.cartcreative wrote:* is there a way to have the module accessed via the "Catalog" tab rather than the "Modules" tab in the admin? - language files to add the linktext
- controller to add the linktext and link
- template to add the link
Installation steps will be provided.
Already made the changes in the demo.
