I just got off the phone with Amarex service. It would seem this service does not provide the rate when merchants wishes to charge their customers in COD mode and unfortunately not just with the COD mode but with any other modes they have as well which means that a merchant could simply state that the profit would be 100 dollars more when a product already costs 100 dollars ($200 total) which is a total scam.

For instance, services like UPS, USPS and Fedex does provide the rate through API web service so to inform the customers on the extra rates that needs to be spent before completing the order. Amarex does not provide any other value than a simple ID which confirms the requested package as a valid statement. Although, I can't see how a provided ID would help a customer and the merchant how much the extra costs there will be before sending the package to destination.

3) shoppers can see shipping cost
As mentioned from my previous message, the rates aren't provided. Only the ID from the gateway response is provided according to their PDF API documentation. On what would that be based exactly when stating that shoppers can see the shipping cost ?

Hello,

After register with aramex , they will provide you list of shipping rate base on zip code/GEO zones.

So we use that document to show shipping cost based on shopper shipping address.

We will look forward to help.

Hi there,

I am developing an eCommerce website using Opencart and I will be shipping via Aramex. I have a merchant account with Aramex and I am looking for someone to assist me with their Shipping API integration into my Opencart website.

Regards,
Salman
