The original Events/Calendar for OpenCart (since version 0.7.7).

Enables you to keep track of events or happenings during the course of the year. Displays a calendar in the column, which provides links to pages displaying the events for the year, month or for a particular day.

New features:
  • List of events below calendar in column
    Add products to your events
    Support for recurring events
Set your own timezone. Calendar module will then display date and time based on this setting.
Can be linked into the home page to enable automatic display of events on the day they start or end.

Simple plug and play installation, with nothing overwritten.

Full installation instructions included.

Get it from Fido-X IT.
Demo at http://demo.fido-x.net.

And the best news -- it's STILL FREE!

As this is free Fido, you can juts say "no" lol

However is there a way to create a tooltip when you hover over a date in the calender a toolip appears showing the event a nd date possibly? equivalent free Joomla mod does it here, would just love this function!!

Sorry to ask! Just love the calender mod! and i really loved that extra tooltip!

I'm going to go through all my modules soon to include support for my multi-vendor "thingy". I could include the tooltip in the rebuild.

We have installed this free mod and its great , we would like to modify it slighlty to be able to display the event pop up to show about a week before the event but still show the start date in the calendar part. Dont know nmuch about php have tried playing with code to use the interim date by setting it earlier than start date but that does'nt trigger the display.
Anybody offer a starting point or is it too difficult without a re-write

Hmmm, interesting idea. I would think it could be done with some minor modifications. I'll look into it.

Just wanted to chime in and say I agree with picstart about the notification idea. To take it a bit further, there could be an option for each event that asks how many days before event start date do you want the notification to start appearing. The first thing that jumped into my head when I read about this idea was setting a reminder event in outlook where it always asks if you want to be notified ahead of time.

For those that have tried to download the extension and have been taken to the Hugo Boss website? Here is the correct link where you can download the calendar:

http://www.fido-x.net/index.php?route=p ... duct_id=55

Lastly, has anyone tested this to work on v1.5.2.1? Thanks!

No. Joomla modules don't work with OpenCart.

Hi!
I've got problems when I try to add a new event. The following errors are in my log:

"2012-04-16 11:43:24 - PHP Notice: Undefined variable: page in
/home/t/torshamm/www/textiltryck/admin/controller/module/events.php on line 338
2012-04-16 11:43:24 - PHP Notice: Undefined variable: pagination in /home/t/torshamm/www/textiltryck/admin/view/template/module/events/list.tpl on line 64"

Any suggestions what to do?
