how to Call field manufacturer description?

Where location for manufacturer description?

I would like to have a discription for the manufacturer module. is there an addon for this.. I need it bad. I need to explain why my store carrys each manufacturer or an about us for each manufacturer. i have found a way around this but i like the MFG module... i just need one additional field. "Description".

I would rather not manipulate a different module like "Text box" or whatever.. i would like to use the MFG module i have.
