do i have to edit file before installing it or what

I can't log in to the admin panel, with the information:

Hello, i'm encountering the same problem after buying a new template and doing a full install of Open Cart in Wampp. When i want to open the admin page i get the same error in the currency.php file. Is this problem already solved are do you guys have a solution? I have found the solution!! (At list this worked for me after several tries)
Ensure that the username that you use during installation is between 3-20 Characters otherwise you will not be able to log in after installation. Hope that helps!!

It happens while installing OpenCart since it username within 3-20 characters limit. I have verified this personally, i hope this resolves your problem.
