Altering generic confirmation of order text

Hi guys,

First post. Wouldn't believe how many issues/features I've been able to add to our site or fix by reading this forum over the last week. Thanks!

One thing I can't find the answer for is how to alter the generic text that a customer is presented with when they sign up for an account, affiliate account or place an order with us. Same goes for the generic emails that are sent to the customer.

Any help greatly appreciated. Running 1.5.2.1 and using Gentle as a theme.

If it's been asked before - and I'm certain it must have been - then apologies!

/catalog/language/english/account/login.php is for sign up
/catalog/language/english/affiliate/login.php is for affiliate sign up
/catalog/language/english/mail/order.php is for emails sent to clients

edit these to your needs, good luck.

Hi Christian, I just wanted to say thanks for sharing this info, I always refer back to this when I haven't been in the files and folders for a while. Thanks again P.S Studying your website, it looks great, how did you change the colouring? a new template or some simple code? also you mention your members have a special discount, does this mean you have 2 prices or only members can purchase and you display the members price or do you give your members a discount code to get the discount? Love your scroll to top button where did you get that? and also did you simply add the FB coding for the comments box or did you buy a mod'? Super interested Thanks
