I am trying to get shipping in OC to work like it does in my actual business. That means:

1) UPS, FedEx, USPS (Priority and First Class)
2) If USPS Priority is selected, I want to show not just the standard Priority boxes, but I also want it to show which Flat Rate Box would also work for the order based on size and weight, especially if it costs less. But I don't want to display the boxes that it won't fit in! This is what 12oclocker did I believe. So size and weight need to be taken into consideration.
3) This includes International USPS orders, which have weight limitations on flat rate packages?

version 1.5.1.3

The simple question is ==> CAN THIS BE DONE? If yes, can you tell me how? Which modules need to be enabled? Or if you want to do the work and get paid for it, that's ok too? Am I asking for something unreasonable here?

Aggravated in Boston,

Not in the core. Flat rate calculations are not supported in the core yet.
There is a simple mod to add it here:
http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 20#p172183

Tho be sure to read on a bit as it explains that you need to alter it a bit to make it work for 1.5.x
I'll see about adding it to the core.

I apologize if I sound like an a-hole, but how is it possible that I'm the only person who needs shipping to work the way it works in the real world? Especially after 12oclocker made his code available? Incredibly frustrating. I don't understand why this is not a basic requirement for people.

(Thanks for pointing to 12oclockers mod, it doesn't seem to work for me in 1.5.1.3. It still doesn't show 1st class mail for one thing, and it also keeps showing flat rate envelope as an option, when I know its not)
