Hi guys,
Firstly I must say how impressed both myself and my colleague have been with opencart, what an absolute godsend. All of the functionality of the pay monthly carts but for free with better support :p
After hours of messing around with various things we've got our site live (http://www.stringsetc.co.uk) however I've got one im guessing fairly simple mod I need some guidance on.
Is there any way to output the shipping address twice on the standard invoice OC generates. I want to use labels with a pre printed sticky , like the ones from http://www.cheap-integratedlabels.co.uk/ for my invoices. I'm happy enough with the standard invoice and its layout but need to get the shipping address displaying bottom left on the page , in addition to where it is already. I plan to then just pull off the duplicated address on its sticky label and use that for addressing my packages.
We were going to integrate with linnworks but in reality ebay and amazon only account for a small amount of our trade.
If anybody can point me in the right direction i'd be most grateful.
We're running oc v1.5.1.3

Looking at doing something for this in my Delivery Notes extension. Probably about a week away from updating it.
That is exactly what I'm looking for Anthony.
No reason why they are at the bottom, it I just struggled to find labels with just one at the top, but I agree the sender label might be a good reason for using 2 (was going to print those separately).
If you could send the tpl for me to take a look at I'd be most grateful. Will have royal mail packetpost sorted next week so the labelling really needs sorting out.
my email is opencart@stringsetc.co.uk
thank you.

I've now taken delivery of my intergrated labels and the invoce tpl (thanks anthony) works a treat. However there seems to be a excessively large gap between the labels and the start of the invoice, meaning any order with more than 3-4 items spills over onto the next page. very annoying
if anyone could cast their eye over the .tpl (im sure its a 2second job if you know what you're looking for) that would be great. just pm me for the file .
thanks again

@stringsetc: Same question to youdimko wrote:@yubnub: Are those paper sheets all sticky, or just the parts that are supposed to be sticky? What I mean is, if the whole A4 acts like a sticker, or only the parts?
Thanks for the info.
Using OpenCart v1.5.1.3
the two top parts of the labels are sticky. so you print your invoice and then peal off the two addresses. one of yours (sender) and the other is the shipping address for your customer. saves a load of time.
still need somebody to look at my .tpl file..

Yeah, I got that part, but the other surface of the paper is a plain regular paper, or...?stringsetc wrote:the two top parts of the labels are sticky. so you print your invoice and then peal off the two addresses. one of yours (sender) and the other is the shipping address for your customer.

the rest of the paper is regular paper. the only bits that are sticky are those at the top. hope that makes sense.
I feel such an idiot. got rid of all but one of the <br>'s and its spot on.
what a plonker. was so simple. thanks for pointing it out though
