UPS API in Multiple Carts Issue

I have a couple of questions concerning the UPS API and issues with it's setup in multiple carts:

I am a web developer designer setting up a couple of carts for a customer with the exact same shipping setup in both carts. They are using OpenCart Version 1.5.1.3 for both carts as well. The shipping setup is UPS & USPS. I am well aware of the bug in using both of these in the same cart and I have used the fix for both carts as well. I have set up one cart with no problems whatsoever however the second cart is having issues with just the UPS shipping module. Here are my questions:

Is it possible to use the same API Access Key for both carts?
I am getting the following error when I try to get past the Shipping portion of the checkout,

This has nothing to do with the cart or anything else. Your webhost simply crashed. Try again later.
