maybe I missed this in the million google base q?s that appear in search, but what Im wondering is how one day I run to my google base feed link it comes up w/ 80 items, another day it'll come up w/ 150, then 20, etc...
I finally was able to get products inserted after manually editing the .xml code, but cant seem to pull all of my items at once, even though they are all active/enabled in my store and in stock

Is google giving you any errors? Some fields are now required - especially for clothing and accessory categories - and will not appear in search if you do not have the required fields completed.
Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
That's not the issue, I have been going to
Last time I pulled about 86 items from the feed link, today I pulled 168 items, currently my store has 232 unique items total, akk of which are active and you can see from my store.
in my browser, copying it over, going into an editor, then adding the necessary categories and fields and uploading them to google (xml) and not having any issues or errors that way, the issue is when i RUN the feed itself the number of products vary greatly (from about a low of 20 to a high of 186 products) return. It was doing this as well when I had google pulling the feed automatically but nothing would list b/c of missing categories.http:///www.mysite.com/index.php?route=feed/google_base

How are you getting to the xml file? The data feed URL for my store doesn't give me any xml file. Are you accessing some file via FTP?kevtheirish wrote:maybe I missed this in the million google base q?s that appear in search, but what Im wondering is how one day I run to my google base feed link it comes up w/ 80 items, another day it'll come up w/ 150, then 20, etc...

when you copy and paste that in your browser you get a ton of code in .xml
I don't get any code in .xml at all. I get a page that asks me if I want to subscribe to a feed instead.kevtheirish wrote:I am going to the web address provided in admin CP >extensions>product feeds> google base (edit)opensource_user wrote:How are you getting to the xml file? I just did that today and oh my god what a huge big mess. It took hours to edit the thing. In the end I only selected 10 of my most important products to put into google base. Isn't there some better way? View page source is just one big mess and I don't know a more streamlined way to edit it all. What if I had 10,000 products?uksitebuilder wrote:View the source of the page
Take a look at our extension (see my sig) if you want more control and features for you Google Feeds
Thank you for your help, uksitebuilder. For now I have so few products in my shop that I can work off of the spreadsheet I've already got going. If I get over 200 products though I'll definitely buy your extension--looks pretty good from reading the comments. Thanks again.uksitebuilder wrote:Take a look at our extension (see my sig) if you want more control and features for you Google Feeds
