Data Feed URL does not pull up an xml file (or any file)

Version 1.5.0.4

EDIT:

I'm having a lot of trouble with the Data Feed URL. It does NOT pull up any file for me; it instead takes me to this web page:

My Data Feed URL is https://thegadgetdr.com/index.php?route ... oogle_base. Yes it is set to "enabled."

What gives? (I also disabled all my FireFox extensions/addons such as ABP to guarantee that nothing could be blocking it, but no change at all)

EDIT: When I submitted this data feed URL to Google base, only 2 of my products were listed and the rest of my products were riddled with errors due to the fact that the Data Feed URL no longer complies with Google Bases's formatting requirements.

View the feed in Internet Explorer. It will tell you what if any errors there are.

Whitespace is not allowed at this location.
