Hey I'm on about setting up a store to buy and direct download themes, for wordpress and such, does opencart support this? So basically they see our themes, and find the one they want, buy it then they get a download link, unique url if possible.

Yes, Opencart supports downloadable products.
Running Opencart v3.0.3.2 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
Yes it is present as part of the default software.
You can have a look at the backend using http://demo.opencart.com/admin and log on using demo/demo.
Then go to System > Settings > Select the default store to edit, click on the Options tab and scroll down towards the bottom where you can see the admin panel and how you can configure permitted extenions etc.
The front end demo will have some products (the Apply Cinema 30" in the monitor subcategory from memory...) which shows you how this will look to customers.

Hi I was also wandering about this. What about something like a downloadable subscription code? for example if i wanted to sell say for instance a xbox live subscription code. I would have a scan of the code ready for immediate download. However I would need every buyer to have a different code and the system must not send the same code out twice.
Is something like this possible as from what I can see the downloads section is for one item to be repeatedly downloaded.
Any advice would be great.

Right now, downloads are all according to products by default. Creating downloads for non-specific products use may or may not be contributed already but not as part of the core.

I followed http://www.opencarttutorial.com/2011/10/24/downloads/ this guide but when I buy the item and go to the download page in account, it says I have no downloads :L

The default isn't designed for what you are after, but have a look at this, haven't used this myself, but the developer is spot on!

What this MOD describes is that it seem to add serial key as intended but to the orders and not specifically on the downloads though.webvet wrote:Jacob24

If this is 'Complete', for example, and your order is still 'Pending' then you won't be able to get to it!
