Clone a shipping mode

I need to know if I can clone a shipping mode and how can I do it?

why do you need it cloned?

I have thought about the same thing to clone the weight shipping, and call it different names;

For example royal mail first class, second class and standard parcel, (all you would have to do is enter the different costs for the different weights, and the buyer can choose what service they want) but looking at the latest opencart, all royal mail postage types will be included in the next release anyway, which will hopefully be out in the next few days which may be of use to the op.

Highly unnecessary. As you can see you can just set multiple geo zones for the same country and just name the geo zones to match the postal services. Set them all to the same country and zone. Then use a shipping module like my Zone Plus module to display them. Supports multiple rates per option or flat rates per option.

No. I really want to clone Weight Based Shipping and name it different. I just need it, I can't explain it in English...
I believe isn't to hard, and I coul do ti myself but I don't know where to start.....
