When processing a direct credit card through the paypal, when I click confirm order, I get the following javascript allert:

"There\'s an error with this transaction. Please provide a valid state in the billing address"

I have provided a valid state, so what is the problem. It seems as if the developers for opencart are from Europe, so has anyone tried this for the United States and run into this problem?

I think the problem is that you need to put the zone code in for thwe sates. such as LA, FL etc..

Ok, i figured out the problem. By default, it had setup only one geozone for UK. So, I added a geozone for United States, and the error went away.

Then a new error came up that there was an Invalid Merchant Configuration. I believe this is because I did not register for the paypal pro. I hadn't realized it was $30/month for this service. I think I will stick with the external paypal link.
